Simon heads up the Hilliard & Berry Solicitors’ Workplace Relations Group. Simon was admitted in 1996 and specialises in workers compensation, workplace relations and WHS spheres for employers and insurers.
After working in London for Reynolds Porter Chamberlain, in 1996 Simon commenced at Moray & Agnew ultimately being appointed the National Head of the Workplace Relations Group.
In 2007 Simon was instrumental in the formation of Berry Buddle Wilkins Lawyers where he worked until 2013.
Simon has extensive experience in acting for employers and insurers including both small and large employers. Simon also appears regularly in the Workers Compensation Commission, District Court of NSW, Supreme Court of NSW, Fair Work Commission, Federal Circuit Court of Australia and Federal Court of Australia. Simon is currently involved in a number of High Court matters including Australian Financial Services & Leasing Pty Limited v Hills Industries Limited and Australian Native Landscapes Pty Limited v Inspector Nathan McDonald.

Mark Meletopoulo – Solicitor
Mark was admitted in 2014 having completed his Diploma of Law with the Legal Professions Board and Sydney University Law Extension College. He completed his practical training with Turner Freeman Lawyers in Sydney.
Mark has over 30 years experience in commercial aviation with an extensive background in training and examining. He has performed various aviation training management positions and continues to be active in the aviation world.
He joined Hilliard and Berry Solicitors in early 2015.

Meriska Lourens – Graduate Solicitor
Meriska is employed with Hilliard & Berry as a graduate solicitor commencing in early 2015. Meriska completed her Bachelor of Laws degree at Murdoch University in 2014. Prior to Hilliard & Berry, she worked for a number of law firms including Berry Buddle Wilkins Lawyers in Sydney and Graham A Ryan & Associates in Perth, Western Australia.
Whilst completing her practical legal training, Meriska has assisted on a number of matters for large employers gaining experience in a wide range of jurisdictions across various employment and work health and safety matters.
